This new fitness movement is entering its third year! Launched for the first time in Australia in early 2017 is a unique new fitness class called SwingTrain.

SwingTrain is a high-intensity dance cardio workout inspired by the joyful, energetic sounds of Charleston, Swing, Gospel, Rhythm & Blues, Electro Swing, and Hot Jazz. These total-body exercise classes are suitable for all levels and the music is so infectious that you won’t even realise you’re burning over 500 calories an hour! Our first-rate instructors will lead you through a series of fun, follow-along moves and interactive choreography guaranteed to get you sweating and smiling.


Where: Kmotion Dance Studio (upstairs), 54 Northbourne Ave Canberra City
Date: Mondays and Saturdays (please note there will not be a class on Saturday 13 July, Saturday 27 July or Saturday 10 August 2019.)
Time: Mondays at 5.30pm, Saturdays at 9:30am (50 min class)
Cost: $14, 5 class passes available for $60

What to wear/bring: Comfy gym clothes, runners or supportive shoes, some water and a towel.
Who can come: Everyone! Come solo, or bring a group friends! No partner or previous dance experience required – just your willingness to have fun!
What can I expect: The class will explore a mixture of 1920s and 30s jazz dancing, with some well-known aerobics steps, broken down and put into fun sequences.
